Competition open to all commercial dental suppliers and offers opportunity to pitch product ideas to senior leaders from Henry Schein’s Global Dental Group and the company's Global Innovation Center and Business Development Teams at the International Dental Show, March 21 – 25, 2017

(Nasdaq: HSIC), the world’s largest provider of health care products and services to office-based dental, animal health and medical practitioners, today announced the “Rely on Us Supplier Competition,” offering commercial dental suppliers the chance to win a distribution deal with Henry Schein, Inc.
The competition is open to all commercial dental suppliers. Applications are now being accepted and must be submitted by midnight Eastern time on February 24, 2017. Four finalists will be notified on March 10, 2017 and invited to present their proposal and marketing plan to a group of Henry Schein global business leaders during the International Dental Show (IDS), March 21 – 25, 2017 in Cologne, Germany. The winners will be presented with an opportunity to discuss their proposal with senior leaders from Henry Schein’s Global Dental Group and the company's Global Innovation Center and Business Development Teams and may be awarded a distribution deal, subject to agreement on all relevant terms and conditions, if the supplier’s product or service complements Henry Schein’s solutions portfolio.

All proposals will be evaluated based on select market and product-based criteria, including but not limited to, market demand, a product’s viability, and the feasibility of the marketing plan. In addition, suppliers are required to provide proof of any regulatory approval or compliance required for a potential implementation with their submission.
