Nearly 200 exhibitors already booked for BDTA Dental Showcase 2013

 Nearly 200 exhibitors have already booked their stand for BDTA Dental Showcase 2013, which takes place at the NEC Birmingham from Thursday 17 October to Saturday 19^th October.

 Each year BDTA Dental Showcase attracts the largest range of exhibitors across a broad spectrum of leading dental companies. With the biggest exhibitor product displays on show, visitors converge at BDTA Dental Showcase to see, feel and experience the latest in the world of dentistry first hand.

 This year, more than 350 stands will be offering a comprehensive range of dental products and services backed up with expert advice on how to get the best out of them. Visitors voted* BDTA Dental Showcase as the most important exhibition in the dental calendar.  It was also voted the most enjoyable, which is an added bonus for the 10,000 members of the dental team who are expected to attend.

Over 10,500 dental professionals joined the voyage of discovery at BDTA Dental Showcase- London

Another highly successful BDTA Dental Showcase took place from 4-6^th October!

On each of the three days thousands of dental professionals converged on London's ExCeL to experience all that's new in dentistry at the UK's largest dental exhibition. Delegates took full advantage of the opportunity to interact with and gain advice from over 330 leading dental companies each with its own on-stand experts ready to help and share their knowledge. The very latest in dental equipment, services and techniques were showcased at the event, creating a professional atmosphere for everyone to engage with the future of dentistry.

This year BDTA Dental Showcase featured a host of new and interactive attractions to enable all dental team members to keep up to date with the latest developments in their field.  In addition BDTA Dental Showcase saw the launch of the UK dental industry's first interactive exhibition app for smart phones to help delegates plan their day and keep up to date.

The Mini Lecture programme featured key expert speakers discussing various topics to suit everyone's dental needs. The 20-minute educational lectures providing verifiable CPD were extremely popular over the 3 days, covering a range of core topics and presented by influential industry speakers. Lectures taking place across the 4 dedicated stage areas ranged from "Engineers can grow new teeth" to "5 reasons why pay per click is right for your practice" and "Management of medical emergencies in practice".  In addition, delegates could benefit from attending one of the many stand-based lectures including "Instrument failure and how to prevent it" on the Schottlander stand and "Providing the toolkit for caries prevention" on the Colgate stand.

For those who preferred a more practical learning experience, the Live Theatre demonstrations provided a fantastic opportunity for dental professionals to witness the latest procedures in dentistry. Dr John Butler and Sharon Waxkrish's "Hypnosis for Dentistry" and Professor Anthony Roberts' "When Perio Goes Wrong" sessions were among an impressive line-up well received by an avid audience. The Business Clinic sessions also allowed delegates to interact with experts on key business issues to improve their practice.

Delegates participating in the Tech Zone, a new opportunity for technicians, lab owners and their wider teams, enjoyed an informal area to mingle with fellow colleagues and discover the latest techniques. The Tech Talk Live panel was highly engaging, featuring leading technicians including Larry Browne, John Wibberley and Barry Appleby.
